12–15 February 2026 | Yoga Nest Zürich Oerlikon or Zentrum

Discover the art and science of teaching aerial yoga, a practice that blends movement, breath, and creativity with the support of the silk. This 4-day intensive at Yoga Nest Zürich is designed for anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of aerial yoga, explore safe and innovative ways to teach, and connect with a vibrant community of teachers and movers.

Who is it for?

This training is open to everyone with a curious mind and a love for movement, whether you wish to teach aerial yoga or simply expand your personal practice.

(No previous yoga teacher training certification required.)

What you’ll learn

Over four immersive days, you’ll explore:

• The history and philosophy behind aerial yoga — and what makes it different from other forms of aerial movement.

• Safe setup and use of the hammock, understanding material and rigging basics.

• Anatomy and physiology for aerial practice, including inversions, brain effects, and contraindications.

• Teaching methodology: cueing, sequencing, creating accessible flows for every body.

• Creative tools for designing classes that move from flying to flowing.

• The role of elements and chakras in class design and energetic awareness.

• Introduction to restorative aerial yoga — the healing potential of the silk.

This training will also include masterclasses led by teachers from the Yoga Nest team, giving you a chance to experience diverse teaching styles and broaden your perspective.

What you’ll receive

• A beautiful printed manual written by our lead teachers, your complete guide to aerial yoga foundations, safety, and class creation.

• A Yoga Alliance YACEP certification (40 hours) upon completion.

• 50% discount on Yoga Nest classes in both Zürich studios for one month before/after the training: to meet our teachers, experience different styles, and become part of our aerial community.

Your teachers

Guka and Lari will guide you through the training as lead teachers, combining years of experience in yoga, movement, and anatomy. Their teaching blends clarity and creativity, helping you build confidence in both practice and teaching.

By the end of the training you’ll be able to confidently teach an aerial yoga class, from warm-up to flow to cool-down, with awareness, safety, and creativity at its heart.
